SohIm Granny Craft Collection Launched in November 2011

Together with Patricia - the craft lady, SohIm Atelier is born. The collaboration came about when I jammed at Pat's craft room and was overwhelmed by Pat's crafts - bags, designers' fabrics, clothes and so on. While I had a series of illustrations drawn over the years, Pat thought that it was a good idea to have the illustrations printed on fabric that could make into crafts of all sorts. In November, SohIm launched the first granny bag series - Granny Crafts at Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore.

The illustrations are printed using large format digital textile printers that show greater design detail than screen printing. Printed on natural fiber textiles, the ink pigment is eco-friendly and water-based. The fabric can also be machine washed, either warm or cool using phosphate-free detergent. To enhance the finishing further, the exterior fabrics are mostly designers' fabric, such as Amy Butler, Alexander Henry, Patricia Bravo and so on. Every piece is one of a kind and is hand crafted by the designers.
